Template based websites start by purchasing a pre-built responsive template and licence. There are thousands available to choose from and the quality has improved drastically over recent years. These are then modified in line with your specification and the appearance changed, to tie in with your brand. Although the websites are pre-built, they can still be heavily modified, and they often come with additional pages or functionality that can be added later.
